While common impression is that to gain page rank and traffic from search engines one needs to buy links form sites, I personally tend to believe otherwise that getting the whole site indexed should be first priority. Links that you get voluntary from related sites on similar subject do better for your site than the links got by paying a price. I strongly believe that instead of spending money on buying links for a site with junk data, it is better to rather spend that money on getting quality content for your site. In fact, now a days search engines have started penalizing a site for having links from low rated or poor quality sites. The quality of inbound links would help your site getting fully indexed by a search engine.

Link exchange phenomenon was at its boom in 2004 and since then many variants of it came on the scene such as “triangle exchange” where you exchange the link from a site and in return link your site with the partner of the site you are linking with. This strategy paid rich dividend for some time but now search engines, and more importantly, Google, the big daddy of all search engines has started penalizing a site for having unrelated or poor quality links. In fact you should get the links develop naturally for your site over the period of time as you are bound to get links if you have a quality content. Search engines are known to prefer inbound links more than the outbound links. The quality of inbound links would help your site getting fully indexed by a search engine.
